No rest til the midwest...

Packing up and heading out to the grand ole Midwest tomorrow. Great Lakes here we come.

There is nothing that makes me feel so calm and collected as long road trips. I am not being sarcastic either. I love driving really long distances. When I fly places I feel like I missed something. It is almost like transporting on Star Trek or something to me. You have no idea what lays between where you were and where you are when you step off a plane. I enjoy watching the land change and how the weather is slightly different every time you get out to get of the car to pump gas in some random little town. Some of the best times in my life have been spent on the road. Plus you have to admit that there is no test of a relationship like spending 20 hours in the car with someone....When you reach your destination you are either best friends or worst enemies. I love that.

Life lately is one thing right after the next with no time to digest in between. It will do me some good to just drive. Need to pack the car with the required musical selections, a carton of cigarettes and a couple cases of energy drinks. I will talk to you all in a week or so. Everyone who might need to talk to me has our numbers. :)
